My name is Camden Eli Stockin or Camdog! I am from the great and beautiful state of New Hampshire. I have lived here my whole life. I have been blessed to grow up in a Christian home. Even though I have grown up in a Christian home I found myself often doubting whether I will actually go to Heaven or not. Every time I was at any sort of camp or Awana whenever I had the chance I would pray the Lord’s prayer as an assurance of my faith whenever I had the chance.
For most of my schooling I went to a public school which really challenged my faith because it was my “friend’s” goal to convert me to atheism. Despite my doubts, the Lord gave me help and perseverance through these years. I then went to a private Christian school called Jesse Remington, which is where I am graduating this year. It is a very small tight-knit school, like a family.
My freshman year was a great year of change since this was the year that I truly put into practice that I needed my own faith. This is also the year that I got baptized. I also realized that part of good faith is knowing and truly believing that I am saved and know without a doubt that I am. I know this that if it was my time to die today I have my name written down in Glory. Freshman year I was able to go on two missions trip the first one was to a school in Massachusetts and I was able to talk and write to the kids and help them. I really enjoyed that and that got me more excited for my trip to Philly. We went to the worst part of Philly. It was a big shock to me, especially coming from a very small country town. This ended up to be one of the best and most life changing trip in my life. I was given the opportunity to do street Evangelism. To start it was very intimidating and I was scared to talk to random people even though I like talking with people. I was encouraged by teachers and I felt led by God. Then it was like a flame was lit and I was on fire for the Lord and was not scared to talk to people and share the great news of God! In this trip God showed me my gifts and what I want to do. Since then I have been pursuing all the mission opportunities I can be a part of. This being said, I know that God’s plan for me was not to just go through the system of school but had a different purpose for me. I looked at and applied for different programs and I non of them felt like that’s where God wanted me to be. I have grown in all of my trips and in my school so much in every way. I am so thankful for What God has done in my life.
