So! I know that the heading is very confusing and maybe even concerning. Don’t worry. This was something that all of the guys had to write. You are probably asking yourself why? Well let me tell ya ! So the purpose of writing our eulogies was to use it as a source of accountability as well as a reminder to ourselves to abide in Christ as well as grow deeper in Christ. We are going to use these between my team the MOGz (Men Of God) and keep each other accountable to remember the men of God we want to become. So Here it is!

Joshua 1:9 states Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  This verse was Camden’s life verse; his goal was to be strong and courageous in the Lord, not in himself. Camden Eli Stockin went by many many names, some would call him Camdog, John the Baptist, Corn dog and many more. What did this teach and show Camden? It taught him that just as Paul states in 1 Corinthians 9 we are called to be everything for everyone and to love everyone for who God made them to be. Camden was a strong man physically, mentally despite all of the challenges and injuries he had over his life. He never let them get to him rather he used them for God’s glory and not for his own self pity and edification. Most of all he was a man of God who served God and others just as he was commanded to do till his very last breath. He loved people and his family so much and would literally do anything for his family no matter who it was. He loved getting closer with God each and everyday of his life. When he would walk in the room people would get convicted because of how strong the Holy Spirit lived within him. Camden also was never shy to share his testimony and praise God for taking him out of slavery to pornography but most of all sin itself. He was not a perfect man but he walked in freedom and repentance on a daily basis. He was able to bring restoration to the modern day church in New England and overseas. He brought the Holy Spirt back to life and paved a way for the King to come back through his ministry that did just that. He was a dad and husband and he was a brother to many as that was one main thing other than God that he strived to have. His kids who are here today strive to be like their dad, Camden Eli Stockin. If he were here today he would say “Don’t mourn the loss of a brother, father, son, Husband, and friend, rather rejoice That I am chilling in heaven with God and that’s one more man in heaven and that he can’t wait to see what God does in y’all’s life. He would say now go as we where commanded and Make disciples as it says in Matthew 28!” Lastly through his faithful ministry there were thousands of churches world-wide that were restored. Through him and his ministry, millions were saved and just the same were set free and healed In Jesus name. Camden saw and treated people as God intended it to be. He was a great example of a Godly man that is bold in leadership but also knew how to be meek in the Lord and lead from a Christ-like perspective!

  1. Beautifully written, Camden. And I believe that one day in the future it could literally be used for you. In the future. In the FAR AWAY future! ??

  2. Camden,
What a man of character, charisma, and Christ Center passion. You are, and will continue to keep pressing towards God. I am so very proud to call you my son.
Praying for you ??????I love you

  3. I truly enjoyed reading this, Camden. It told me a lot about how you want to be seen and the Christ-like man you want to become. I loved that you shared this with your readers. It took some vulnerability and humility to be so open with us. I also really like that you love the Lord enough to desire all that you wrote about. I also hope that you can see the man you are, and the man you are becoming.

  4. Camden, this took such openness and humility to share this with us. Thank you! I really admire and respect the man you want to become. Recognize that you are in process already of “becoming” that person through Christ. Thank you for being so honest and sharing this with us.

  5. Words can’t express how those words stirred my heart. I am proud of the man you’ve become and that I get to be your best friend through it. I can’t wait for the things God is going to use you to accomplish and the things He is going to use the cord to accomplish. I love you brother, and may that fire in your soul light innumerable people and churches on fire for God. Praise be to the Lord of Hosts who hast brought His children out of slavery and redeemed them from unrighteousness. Worthy is He of all glory and praise forever and ever, amen.
